I was most impressed with the first question posed at last week’s Homes and Communities Agency “open meeting” on 26 November

It seems some people view the HCA with more trust than the Royal Town Planning Institute.

The HCA’s Sir Bob Kerslake was asked directly to provide internships for newly qualified planning graduates; this raises some concerns about the RTPI and the next generation of planners. Over the last few months there have been some meaningless platitudes offered by some senior figures of the RTPI.

Has anyone got a vision for the future? Abdicating responsibility on such matters is not acceptable. I do hope Kerslake can take planning forward.
