I have just read your article on the Birmingham Bullring (29 August, page 30).
I am sure that the architects and engineers responsible for the 1964 Bull Ring design would have received great acclaim for their efforts, despite what you now report. Please make sure you photograph this building in, say, five years, and let's see how it has weathered. I bet there'll be more that one species of bird using the discs for target practice. How will these shiny discs be cleaned and at what cost?
