The EH range of camera housings from Conway Security was used by a BBC/OR Media film crew which accompanied Stephen Fry on a trip through Peru. Last year the comedian made a documentary on the plight of Peru’s bear population and felt the call to return for a follow-up to be transmitted at Easter.

Several animals have been relocated from inappropriate conditions to a large enclosure in Aguas Calientes at the foot of the famous Machu Picchu settlement. A major aim of the expedition was to set up a permanent refuge for Chileno bears.

Conway’s EH range is designed to cater for every major camera and lens combination available. The units offer a tray base which allow items such as telemetry receivers to be accommodated “invisibly” inside the housing. Integral wiper assemblies are available, as well as fan-cooled visors.

Stainless steel construction can be specified by installers and end users.
