Are you involved in a project that will involve demolishing a school, hospital, library or council building in London later this year?

If so, art projects curator Artangel Trust would like to hear from you. It’s searching for a building for a well-known artist to convert into a walk-through installation. After partial demolition, rubble from the building would be used to convert it into a ‘structure that supports its own tomb’. Structural engineer Atelier One will be advising on the technical feasibility of the project. ‘I’m fairly confident, having worked on past projects [such as Antony Gormley’s Waste Man], that there are ways of making it happen safely,’ said Rob Bowman, head of production at Artangel.

The ideal building would have 4 or 5 storeys, and be a municipal building visited for a common purpose. www.artangel.org.uk
