With over 21.5 million passengers passing through in 2000 alone, Brussels is one of Europe's fastest-growing airports.
Consequently, the Brussels International Airport Company (BIAC) – which operates the airport – schedules important expansion works on a regular basis. The most recent of these works has been the building of Pier A and connecting buildings (including a concourse and departures lounge).

Senior managers at the BIAC recognise that security for these new areas is of paramount importance, and have duly ordered an extensive Ethernet-operated CCTV set-up from systems integrator ENI that's based on Baxall's Destiny IP product range.

Designed in conjunction with IndigoVision, Destiny IP can be used to send full-motion, real time, digital quality video – together with sound and data – across a wide range of existing LANs using Internet Protocol technologies.
