Constructing Excellence Focus

Constructing Excellence was formed in April 2004, bringing together a number of industry organizations and agendas under one banner: Rethinking Construction, the Construction Best Practice Programme, the Housing Forum, and the Local Government Task Force. The Department of Trade and Industry felt that as a single organization, Constructing Excellence would be able to bring sharper focus to its change agenda and deliver significant improvements in quality, cost, delivery and safety in the built environment.
