JB Kind has introduced internal doors coated in Masterfoil, a printed foil that imitates other materials such as oak and cherry.

Pre-covered at the factory, each door is supplied with iron-on strips of the foil, which can be applied to the edges once the door has been fitted to size. The company says the material is scratch-resistant and that a masonite substrate is used to prevent wood fibres ghosting through. The doors are 35mm thick, 1981mm tall and available in widths of 686, 762 and 838mm. Masterfoil FD30 fire-rated doors are also available; they are 45mm thick.
