Roofing membrane maker Protan has launched ProFab, a bespoke roofing solution, aimed at the off-site construction market.
The company offers a detailed design service, which it says it to ensure that the prefabricated roofing membrane is applied quickly, reducing time and costs. The mechanical application requires no glue, which reduces health and safety risks, and the maker says it has a lifespan of more than 30 years. As part of the detailed design service, Protan can advise on Part L Building Regulations requirements, which the roof construction must comply with.
