Building on the strengths of its former training arm, Group 4 Securitas Training, the new company will offer training on a regional basis to reduce delegate travel time and costs, and give more choice in accommodation.
Group 4 will continue to hold UK-based courses, but will also use its training sites in Europe, central Asia and the Far East.
Open courses are to be costed on a 'training only' basis, allowing delegates to choose accommodation from a range of options located close to the training centre.
Meanwhile, a 'pick-and-mix' approach to courses should allow customers to specify course content from a list of standardised modules. This will help conform to specific needs, at the same time reducing course design costs.
