The current coronavirus pandemic has us all looking to our contracts to understand our legal position in the crisis. While the impact of current legislation upon construction is rather unclear, there may be further regulations to come. Regardless of legislation, the virus may impact upon existing and future contracts. This article examines the impact of covid-19 upon the various relevant clauses in JCT contracts that may be worth considering when seeking relief.
