ICS has introduced two DeLonghi carbon-cutting heat pumps to the UK market
The DeLonghi HT Air Source Heat Pump (pictured) is already available in Europe, and is marketed as a direct replacement to existing boilers. It can be retro-fitted to existing central heating systems using existing pipe work, radiators or underfloor heating, or installed in new builds. It produces domestic hot water up to 65ºC.
The DeLonghi HPT Thermacell Exhaust Air Heat Pump is designed for smaller homes or flats and works by extracting heat from waste air from the bathroom and kitchen before it is ducted out of the building. ICS says it is low noise and incorporates a 185 or 285-litre unvented cylinder.
