New home registrations down in second quarter

Signs of improvement in London but analysts caution that capital’s data is most volatile

New home registrations fell in the second quarter as developers slowed housebuilding activity, figures from the National House Building Council (NHBC) show.

Data released today by the warranty provider shows 29,162 new homes were registered to be built in Q2 226, down 4% from 30,259 in the same period the year prior.
