Work has started on a new building in King’s Cross

The team behind the 1-3 Canal Street scheme, designed by Niall McLaughlin Architects, includes technical design delivery specialist Veretec, part of architect Aukett Fitzroy Robinson, and contractor Kier Build. The first phase of the building includes an energy centre and substation to provide power and a district heating system for the King’s Cross Central development. The second phase includes housing, a cafe, car parking and a games area. Utilities fit-out work will start in March 2010.
