Architect Ron Galloway associates has won the South Bridge design competition for an area of Edinburgh destroyed by fire in December. The scheme is based on the assumption that the site should be built up to its original level of density. It will include bars, clubs, theatres, shops and restaurants. The scheme will also include office and residential space starting at third-floor level.
