DuPont has launched AirGuard Smart, a membrane designed as a vapour control layer to improve building airtightness

The firm says the membrane is suitable for roof and wall applications and has been developed for new build and refurbishment projects and specifically designed for renovating roofs from the exterior. DuPont says the AirGuard Smart can cope with a wide range of humidity conditions and minimizes or increases the water transmission rate as needed, which allows protection against structural damage. It has a temperance resistance of -40°C to +80°C.
