Peter Hogg steps up to role after nearly 30 years at business
Arcadis has appointed Peter Hogg as its country director for the UK and Ireland.
The rejig sees Hogg, who has been with the business 28 years, replace Simon Bimpson, who has been in the post four years. Arcadis said Bimpson will continue to serve as president of Arcadis Advanced Manufacturing.
Hogg has been London City Executive for the past nine years as part of a career which has seen him work on several major infrastructure programmes in the capital including the Jubilee Line Extension and Heathrow’s T5.

Arcadis said Hogg would stay on as London City Executive and combine it with his enlarged brief.
The firm added: “He has also spearheaded Arcadis’ central and local government relations programme while growing the firm’s presence in economic development and investment organisations across the country. His expertise has helped Arcadis maintain its position at the forefront of shaping successful, sustainable cities.”
Hogg said: “Arcadis is uniquely positioned to help our clients shape vibrant, resilient places that improve lives. I look forward to working with our partners to deliver on this promise.”
In December, Arcadis announced that Heather Polinsky will take over from Alan Brookes as chief executive.
Brookes stands down next month after 25 years at the firm. He has been chief executive since May 2023.
