New arrival joining from BAE Systems
Balfour Beatty has said that current chief financial officer is being replaced by the group financial controller of defence contractor BAE Systems.
Phil Harrison is stepping down after more than a decade at the business. He will be succeeded by Myles Westcott later this year once Westcott has finalised his departure date from the BAE.
When Harrison joined in 2015, Bafour’s average net debt at the end of 2014 was £371m with this becoming a £1.1bn net cash pile at the year-end in 2025.
Balfour is due to release its full-year results on 11 March.
