Balfour Beatty upbeat about year ahead

Country’s biggest contractor says it is performing in line with expectations

Balfour Beatty has said it is on track to hit its financial targets this year.

The country’s biggest contractor, which will hold its AGM in central London later today, said it had performed as expected since 1 January.

In an update released ahead of the AGM, Balfour said: “Based on performance to date and visibility of future operations, Balfour Beatty is on track to deliver performance in line with full year expectations.”
