Contractor lined up to build Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios-designed hub

Bam has been lined up to build a £50m student services building for Cardiff University.

The Feilden Clegg Bradley Studios-designed project will create a hub for student support services and a 550-seat lecture theatre.

Bam has been named preferred bidder for the pre-construction deal, with work expected to start on site later this year. Completion is slated for the 2019-20 academic year.

The facility is part of a wider £600m overhaul of the university campus, part of the institution’s largest upgrade in a generation.
