Bam brings in Robertson boss for leadership role in Scotland

Bam has appointed a former Robertson board director as its new director for Scotland.

Mike King starts as regional director in the middle of next month, having spent 11 years at the Elgin-based contractor. His career also includes spells at Balfour Beatty and Taylor Woodrow.

At Robertson, King was executive technical director working across its eight regional construction businesses, with responsibilities including pre-construction, planning and digital construction.

Bam’s executive director for construction in the UK and Ireland, Kim Sides, said: “I’m delighted Mike is joining Bam to lead our Scotland region and contribute to our broader divisional key client strategy.”
