Skanska, Wates and Willmott Dixon up for British Council of School Environments contractor of the year

Contractors Skanska, Wates and Willmott Dixon have been shortlisted for the British Council of School Environments (BCSE) contractor of the year award.

The full awards shortlist was unveiled by the BCSE today, and also shortlists Atkins, EC Harris and HLM Architects for consultant of the year.

The BCSE awards, now in their fifth year, highlight the best in school design and construction.

The BCSE said: “The awards celebrate those that work in our nation’s schools from school leaders, teachers, local authority officers to engineers, builders and architects.”
