Matt Forbes started at £220m turnover PE-backed consultant earlier this week
Property management consultant Bellrock has appointed a former CBRE and Aecom boss as its new chief executive.
Matt Forbes started on Monday and is taking over from Carlo Alloni, who will remain with the business until the end of November as part of a handover transition.
Bellrock, which is backed by private equity firm Sun European Partners, said: “The move signals the start of the company’s next growth phase under a new long-term capital structure supported by investor Sun European Partners.”

Sun European Partners managing director Marc Mabon added: “With a new long-term capital structure in place, Bellrock is now poised for success and we look forward to working with Matt and the team to capitalise on this.”
Forbes spent six years at CBRE ending up as a group president and before that was nearly three years at Aecom where he was COO for Europe and the Middle East.
He also spent nearly six years at Balfour Beatty where he was group head of strategy until 2017.
Bellrock employs around 1,200 people with its HQ in London’s Victoria. It has a turnover of around £220m.
