Architect Benoy has completed designs for a visitor centre at Swansea Waterfront and is due to apply for planning permission this summer. The scheme is a mixed-use development, including residential, office, leisure and retail space. The visitor centre is at the heart of the masterplan to extend the urban edge of Swansea city centre. The bubble-like centre is an island in the dock; it can be visited via a footbridge. The project team includes QS Chandler KBS and structural and M&E consultant White Young Green.
