The Berkeley Group says it has received approaches for the Crosby housing business.
The Berkeley Group has confirmed that it has been approached by Lend Lease about the sale of Crosby Homes.
On Friday Building revealed that Lend Lease was in talks with the Berkeley Group to buy Crosby Homes for £270m. A source said that Berkeley aimed to announce the deal at its annual general meeting on 24 June.
In a statement to the stock exchange Berekely Group said that discussions were at a preliminary stage and may or may not lead to the sale of the business.
