PFI specialist is preferred bidder for £60M Clackmannanshire Council schools PFI.

PFI specialist Bilfinger Berger BOT has been selected as preferred bidder for the £60m Clackmannanshire Council schools PPP deal.

Bilfinger's vehicle, Clackmannanshire Education Partnership (CEP), will deliver the complete replacement of its existing secondary school estate.

Bilfinger's appointment for Clackmannanshire Council follows similar appointments elsewhere in the UK such as The Kent Grouped Schools PPP where BB BOT has also acted as lead sponsor and promoter.

Nick Dawson the managing director of Bilfinger Berger BOT said: "We are extremely pleased to have been selected along with our partners Ogilvie Construction, Barr and Amey Business Services to progress this outstanding project. All of us are looking forward to working closely with Clackmannanshire Council, to deliver a first class design solution to the staff and pupils in the region."

This is Bilfinger Berger's 10th PPP project in the UK and first in Scotland. We hope it is the first of many more."
