Firm also pays tribute to London and Southern boss Mick Laws who passed away recently
Lovell’s deal to carry out a scheme to build 3,500 homes in Birmingham has been rubber-stamped by the council.
The Morgan Sindall subsidiary was named the council’s preferred development partner for the Druids Heath scheme last September.
Of the new homes, 51% will be affordable with 400 units for social rent. The remaining affordable homes will be delivered through a partnership agreement between Lovell and Homes England.

Meanwhile, Lovell Partnerships has paid tribute to its regional managing director for London and Southern who passed away recently.
Mick Laws joined the firm in 2019 from Galliford Try where he was managing director of its building division having first arrived at the business in 1993.
In a statement, Loveall said: “Mick has many friends from across the construction and housing sectors after a long and successful career.
“All of us at Lovell will be thankful for having had the opportunity to work with him over the last six years, for what he achieved as Managing Director for our London region as well as the legacy and team he leaves behind. He loved being part of the team as much as we loved working alongside him - and we all really miss him.”
He is survived by his wife Jo and daughters.
