Ramboll was in charge of engineering design for the latest installation to grace the Turbine Hall in London’s Tate Modern

How It Is, by Polish artist Miroslaw Balka, includes a 30m-long, 10m-high steel box, which can be entered by visitors. The structure, which is blacked out with steel plate cladding on the inside, aims to create the experience of walking into a pitch-black hole. The installation will be on show until 5 April next year.
