Twelve of the UK's leading brickwork contractors have come together to form The Association of Brickwork Contractors (ABC).
The aim of the association is to promote the role of the bricklayer and the brickwork contractor. The association will place special emphasis on four key objectives: quality of work, employment, health and safety, and training and education.

Association president Bill Preston said: "These four key objectives must be maintained and developed by all members." Membership of ABC is open to all brickwork contractors and subcontractors.
