Brickability chair to step down next year

Former Brickability chairman John Richards, who oversaw the building products firm’s listing on AIM seven years ago, is stepping down next year.

Richards led the firm’s board of directors for eight years, overseeing its admission to trading on AIM in August 2019.

Before his appointment in 2018, he spent more than three decades at brick firm Ibstock including spells as sales and marketing director and general manager.

The firm, now renamed BRCK and which was the subject of a takeover bid by Bovis owner Atlas Holdings earlier this year, said he will leave after its 2027 AGM, likely to be September next year.
