Luke Kelly replaces Alan Bunting who left in spring
British Land has appointed Luke Kelly as head of development delivery, replacing Alan Bunting who left in the spring.
Kelly has been at British Land nine years after joining from consultant Stace and was most recently a project director at the firm’s development delivery team.
Schemes he has worked on include the 1 Triton Square development at Regent’s Place while he has recently been leading the Broadgate Tower job, being carried out by Bam, and the Euston Tower rebuild at Regent’s Place which is due to be carried out by Mace.
British Land said Kelly will be responsible for delivering the company’s development and repositioning programme which includes the 1 Appold Street job in Broadgate being carried out by Skanska.
British Land’s head of development David Lockyer said: “Luke has been instrumental in the delivery of some of British Land’s most successful projects over the last decade and has consistently demonstrated exceptional leadership, judgement and commitment to delivering the highest standards for our customers.
“Luke is the right person to lead the team through this next chapter, combining his proven track record of delivery with a fresh perspective, energy and a passion for innovation.”
Yesterday, Building revealed that Bunting has joined JP Morgan Chase to take on a managing director role at the banking giant’s scheme to build a new headquarters at Canary Wharf.
