British Land chief takes over BPF presidency

Members of the industry body are set to vote on a planned merger

British Land’s chief executive has become president of the British Property Federation as the organisation prepares for a merger.

The organisation’s members, along with those of the Association of Real Estate Funds and the Investment Property Forum, are set to vote on plans to merge and create a new representative body, which would be called Real Estate: UK (RE:UK).
