Gordon Brown will unveil two memorial stained glass windows at UCATT's HQ tomorrow.

Chancellor Gordon Brown is to lead a dedication ceremony for the many construction workers who have lost their lives at work.

Brown will unveil two new memorial stained glass windows at the Clapham headquarters of construction union UCATT on Wednesday afternoon.

Around 80 workers died on construction sites over the last year.

The ceremony will also be the first public outing for UCATT general secretary elect Alan Ritchie. Ritchie said this week: "I feel very humble that the membership has elected me as the new general secretary and I am honoured to represent construction workers throughout the UK and Ireland."
