This is one of three plans for Great North Eastern Railway stations dreamed up by Nick Derbyshire Architects.
The redevelopments are to be used as part of GNER's bid for the franchise held by South West Trains. The focus of this design for Vauxhall, south-west London, is the glass bell-like entrance. The proposal also includes the redevelopment of Southampton Central and Clapham Junction stations. Derbyshire drew up the feasibility study for the £110m Clapham plan, not Arup as stated in Building last week. Symonds prepared costings.
