Building was named the Periodical Publishers Association’s Subscription Magazine of the Year at a ceremony in London’s Grosvenor House hotel last week, beating Emap’s Local Government Chronicle in the category.

Judges said Building “stood out for its excellence and attention to all areas of subscription marketing, achieving great results”.

After 10 years of subscription growth, Building recently became the industry’s best-selling weekly. 2005/06 was its most successful year so far. Led by Socratis Socratous, Building’s subscription marketing team has added extra value to the subscription package in the past 12 months.
