Local contractor set to start on scheme this May
Local contractor Caddick has been appointed to build a 16-storey hotel in the middle of Leeds.
The £46m scheme is being developed by Marrico and Helios Real Estate with the job being bankrolled by funding from Aberdeen Investments.
The scheme, which is part of the city’s Lisbon Street regeneration, is being built near the former Leeds International Swimming Pool site which was demolished more than 15 years ago and has been replaced by student flats.

Designed by DLA Architecture, the scheme will comprise 200 hotel rooms, including a mix of studio and suite accommodation designed to cater for both short and extended stay guests.
The developers said the building will be fully electric and powered by renewable energy.
Caddick is set to start on sit this May with a finish due for spring 2028. Leeds firm Richard Boothroyd & Associates is QS
