Consultant to work with Mace to build new studio for Coronation Street on 7.7 acre site
Capita Symonds has won a contract to provide engineering and environmental services for ITV to relocate its Coronation Street studio to the new media complex in Salford.
The consultant will carry out the work on behalf of Mace, the project managers on the scheme.
ITV is building a new studio for the soap on a 7.7 acre site separate from the main MediaCityUK complex.
Capita Symonds said it would be providing “civil and structural engineering and geo-environmental services” for the move.
