Deal for Correct Contract Services to expand regional presence in south and central England

Housing maintenance specialist contractor Cardo has bought an energy services specialist to expand its presence across south and central England.

Andover-based Correct Contract Services (CCS) was founded by former gas engineers in 2007 and works with local authorities and social landlords across the UK to ensure homes are safe and efficient.

Cardo has picked up several firms in the past few years

Currently its 280-person team supports more than 50,000 properties with electrical, heating and retrofit services.

In the year to 31 March 2025 it reported turnover of £29m and a pre-tax profit of £1.5m.

The takeover is the latest in a series of acquisitions by Cardo. Its purchase of Scottish business Trident Maintenance Services in February came after it picked up parts of collapsed firm Breyer Group in 2025 and Osborne’s property services business in 2023.

Cardo said this latest acquisition would strengthen its compliance and energy services capabilities while expanding its presence across south and central England.

In its last set of results for the year to February 2025, Cardo improved turnover 73% to £145m and saw pre-tax profit climb from £1.2m to just over £5m.
