Gaunt Francis Architects has unveiled its £7m refurbishment of Richard Seifert's 1960s London landmark, Centrepoint. Ground-floor curtain walling and a smart reception area replace an open ramp descending into a car park. The forecourt over Tottenham Court Road Tube station is to be transformed into a public square. The client is Dartmoor LP, the contractor is Interior, structural consultant is Cameron Taylor Bedford and QS is EC Harris.
