TP Bennett Architects is working with the Corporation of London to redevelop its headquarters at the Guildhall in the City, incorporating a public piazza on the north side office entrance.

The refurbishment will provide more office space, improved meeting and visitor facilities, and a kitchen. The proposal for the main building – North Block, designed by the

Giles Gilbert Scott – has just received planning approval, with preliminary refurbishment work under way on the West Wing and Justice Rooms due to complete later this year. Work on the North Block is due to begin in spring 2006, and complete in early 2008.
