The Construction Skills Certification Scheme is to be extended to construction managers and workers, and is to become the Confederation of Construction Clients' preferred certification system.
The move follows the CSCS board's offer of three seats to the clients' body, one to the Construction Industry Council and one to the Construction Industry Training Board. The clients' body will take up the seats once the CITB has approved the CSCS as the industry's preferred certification scheme.
