Combiplus is a range of domestic combination boilers from Ravenheat which, according to the company, will outperform the best SEDBUK-listed band A boilers
There are two versions in the range, one with an output of 5-32kW and a larger 6-42kW unit. They incorporate Energycatcher technology that captures the latent heat in the flush exhaust gases, which is normally lost, and uses it to heat the domestic hot water supply.
The company says this results in the boilers being more than 97% efficient. Combiplus comes with WRAS approval, and is recognised in Appendix Q, which means its energy performance can be evaluated for inclusion in SAP calculations.
