Daikin has launched its new Sky Air Seasonal Smart and Seasonal Classic commercial air-conditioning solutions, which the company claims are ready for the new EcoDesign standards being introduced in January 2013 where all air-conditioning units under 12kW must be labelled according to their seasonal energy efficiency ratings (SEER). Seasonal Smart has an A/A energy label and features an adjustable condensing and evaporating temperature, which the firm says makes it more responsive to the outside temperature. It has a maximum piping length of up to 75m and is suitable for larger installations. Both the Seasonal Smart and the Seasonal Classic range are available in single and three-phase power.
