Jarvis is considering changing its name and Building wants to hear your suggestions. Best new brand name wins a £25 drinks voucher.

In an interview with the Financial Times, Jarvis chief executive Alan Lovell said that the group’s board is considering changing its name.

The Jarvis brand is tarnished as a result of being linked to a series of high profile disasters. These include a catalogue of profit warnings last year and, far more worryingly, the Potters Bar derailment in May 2002. Jarvis was responsible for the track maintenance.

It’s competition time. Please email your suggestions for a name to replace Jarvis. Include your name, who you work for and an explanation for your name change. The brand name Building picks out as the best will receive a £25 drinks voucher.
