A £15m HQ for Gloucestershire Constabulary in Gloucester was topped out last week.

Contractor Britannia Construction has erected more than 750 tonnes of steel to form the elliptical 8500 m2 four-storey building. The McBains Cooper Architecture-designed scheme includes a borehole system for regulating the temperature of the building. McBains Cooper is also structural and M&E consultant on the project, which is for for PFI consortium Gloucestershire FM Services.
