The Corn Exchange in Ipswich is to be shrouded in a Suffolk landscape from artist Les Bicknell during a £1m, six-month refurbishment project

The 50m-long picture draws on the history of the former corn market. Ipswich council, which commissioned the project, expects the artwork to go up within the next week. Bicknell’s past projects include artwork for Birmingham library and design features for the Marriott’s Way cycle path in Norfolk.
