Cowlin checks in at Bristol International Airport after winning contract for walkway and retail area.

Regional contractor Cowlin Construction has won a £3.3m contract for a retail area and walkway at Bristol International Airport.

The firm has already started work on the steel-frame walkway, while the retail complex will be built on the site of a former security search area.

Cowlin Construction senior contracts manager Terry Hodges said: "We have been closely involved in the growth of the airport in recent years with over seven million pounds worth of work carried out, which included last year the extension to the terminal to provide additional check-in and arrivals facilities.

"It is great to see an airport right on Cowlin's doorstep catering for business flyers and holiday makers."
