Metro corporation denies claims four were injured during clean-up operation, after six died and 15 were hurt in yesterday’s incident

At least three cranes have collapsed during cleaning operations at the site of yesterday’s Delhi metro bridge accident.

News channel CNN-IBN are reporting that four people have been injured, but Delhi Metro Rail Corporation deny these claims.

Six people have died since the bridge collapsed yesterday and up to 15 more were injured.

The accident occurred when a metal support gave way, a spokesperson said. He gave no immediate explanation of today’s crane collapse.

When the Delhi Metro broke ground six years ago, there were already questions about its safety. Part of another bridge collapsed in October killing a bus driver.
