Group treasurer steps up immediately as Mike Kemsley leaves after 15 years
Cyril Sweett has appointed Chris Goscomb as finance director with immediate effect.
Goscomb, 56, steps up from his role as group treasurer at the QS and project management firm, which he has held for two years.
Mike Kemsley, who has been finance director for 15 years, will leave the company to pursue his career in other areas.
Francis Ives, chairman of Cyril Sweett, said: “On behalf of the board I would like to thank Mike as he has made wide contribution to the development of the company and in particular played a major role in the flotation in 2007, our mergers and acquisitions, and our employee shareholding ethos. We wish him every success in his future endeavours.
“We are delighted that Chris is joining the board to help us manage the business in the current economic environment and take advantage of the opportunities which will arise.”
