Delayed land deal set to eat further into Gleeson profit

Warning, made in wake of housebuilders slowing down building programmes, comes after firm booked £10m provision last month

A land deal accounting for half of Gleeson’s forecast plot sales for the current financial year will not complete before its year-end later this month, with a £7.5m hit to profit expected as a result.
