Elta Fans has supplied its SPP500/4/2 DCV (demand control ventilation) fan for the new ventilation system in the kitchen at The Three Crowns Inn, a 13th-century granite inn in Chagford, Devon. DCV ensures the ventilation rate matches the occupancy rate of the area. The firm says that its DCV fans can ventilate a kitchen effectively while maximising the indoor air quality, reducing the amount of energy used and reducing noise ratings. The three main elements of the Elta DCV system are the sensors, the zone controller, and the wall controller.
